The idea started with picking herbs like lavender and rosemary from my neighbor's garden in Mar Vista. I loved having the herbs around in my house so I began searching for a way to preserve it and turn it into art.

I've expanded my work to include flowers of all types and some pieces feature handmade paper imported from Bhutan

These papers are from Bhutan's handmade paper mill Jungshin. Only 100% Mitsumata fiber is used

My newest project aims to preserve flowers whole, (rather than pressed) to present them in a 3-dimensional format

Showcasing the flowers in terrariums retains their original beauty and structure

Dried Flower Decor

"Seeing beauty in a flower could awaken consciousness, however briefly, to the beauty that is an essential part of their on innermost being, their true nature. The first recognition of beauty was one of the most significant events in the evolution of human consciousness"
